Rule 'by' Law in Singapore

Singapore Court’s verdict tak boleh tahan!

Tak boleh tahan is Malay for can’t take it or endure or tolerate. As in can’t take this heatwave or can’t take this crap anymore.

It was the name for the peaceful protest/demonstration against the escalating cost of living by members of the Singapore Democratic Party and other activists on March 15, 2008 who were arrested and taken away by the police. See here.

Its also a term to describe the case and verdict against this group of activists who were persecuted by prosecution in a police state and, in which, the Constitution got raped along the way. See here and here.
