Alan Shadrake, author of Once A Jolly Hangman: Singapore Justice in the Dock, attended the screening. On 16th Nov, he was sentenced to 6 weeks in jail + S$20,000 fine (2 weeks jail if fine is not paid) + S$55,000 legal costs to Attorney-General's Chambers for his exposé on the Singapore Government's use of the death penalty.
