SFD to highlight PAP’s political discrimination to UN Special Rapporteur

Singaporeans for Democracy (SFD) will highlight the practice of political discrimination by the PAP government in its upcoming meeting with the UN Special Rapporteur.
The SFD delegation to be led by Dr. James Gomez will comprise of Mr. Martyn See, Ms. Rachel Zeng and Mr. Seelan Palay.
The SFD delegation will have a face-to-face meeting with the UN Special Rapporteur on racism, Githu Muigai, during his visit to Singapore from 21-28 April 2010.
SFD’s representations will draw attention to PAP governmental policies that encourage racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerances in Singapore .
This meeting is the result of prior arrangements with the office of Special Procedures Division at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, UN, Geneva.
