Singaporeans, come together on this day, not only to celebrate Singapore’s 44th Independence Day, but also to remind ourselves of our duty to uphold the true meaning of the Pledge. There will be speeches by young Singaporean activists reflecting on the values of the Pledge and their future hopes for Singapore.
